A Guide to Rolling Papers & Smoke Accessories
By Tobacco & More · Updated
Rolling papers and smoke accessories are small items, but there are a lot of variations. Here's a quick rundown of the common options so you can find what you need at your local store.
Rolling paper sizes
Papers are usually sold by size. Single wide is the traditional smaller size, 1¼ is slightly wider, and king size (including king size slim) is longer. Packs differ in the number of leaves and whether they include tips.
Paper materials
Common materials include wood pulp, rice and hemp. Papers also come bleached (white) or unbleached (brown), and in different thicknesses. The choice mostly comes down to personal preference for burn and feel.
Cones, tips, filters and wraps
Pre-rolled cones are papers already shaped and ready to fill. Tips (sometimes called crutches) are small pieces of card rolled into the end, while filters are typically used with rolling tobacco. Wraps are an alternative to paper and come in several styles.
Lighters and everyday accessories
Options range from disposable lighters to refillable butane lighters and torch lighters, which need butane refills. Other everyday accessories include rolling trays, rolling machines, grinders, ashtrays, storage containers and cleaning supplies.
Stock varies by location and changes often. If you need a particular size or style, call or message your nearest store before heading over.
